Once expats obtain Electronic Digital Signature [EPS], they immediately get full access to all government services available for foreign nationals as well, provided through the E-Government, or at the local Public Service Centres. An EDS has the same legal and enforceable status as a handwritted signature. You can get your EDS in the AIFC Expat Centre within several minutes. According to the Tax Code of Kazakhstan, all money operations [incl. repayment of taxes] involving Kazakhstan banks require the use of an Individual Identification Number [IIN]. The IIN is a unique 12-digit number issued by the national revenue services.
The AIFC Expat Centre has repesentatives of the NRS on site, that will grant you your IIN within one business day.
